Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU), at the integration event organized by the International Relations Coordination and Faculty of Sports Sciences, our students from all over the world and the MAKU Management came together at the MAKU Stadium. In his statement at the event, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin DALGAR stated that there are approximately 1200 international students from 40 different countries at MAKU, emphasizing that each of our international students are our voluntary diplomatic ambassadors, and that our students being together with international students provides bilateral cultural interaction and social development. Rector Dalgar stated that international students trust Turkish Higher Education and see Turkey as a safe harbor, and they are working on various studies to increase the number of international students.
In the continuation of the event, breathing exercises and sports activities were performed to the participants by expert students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences. Students who played games such as skipping rope, tug of war and dodgeball created colorful images.
We had a nice day participating in various activities with our TÖMER students. The young people are happy, we are happy, MAKU is happy...
